Should films be politically correct?

Well, without any buildup or anything, we'll directly jump to my answer. NO
Cinema is an art. Art has no boundaries. It is the mere creation of the artist. Artists have the right to do what they think. It is their idea,it is their presentation.

But the question comes then, can cinema be politically incorrect? It is a case of contradiction, that again my answer is No. No cinema shall pass a wrong message to the audience. It is ok to have no message at all, because it is more better than having a worse one. Discrimination by any mean -racial,gender or by caste, can cause an emotional breakdown for those people affected (the thing is,emotional quotient of the present and coming generation is much less than their intelligence quotient,IT IS REALLY A BIG PROBLEM AND THAT IS WHY BODY SHAMING ISSUES ARE SO PREVALENT in the present scenario).

So,why this thing is relevant because, there are some analysts who dissect every part of a film and shows us what is right and what is wrong. Some examples by these people are like,"why Poovalli Induchoodan approached Nandagopala Marar and not Nanu Pulayan?"and there are many other things like that. I personally, see these things as shit, and more shit. No art is subjected to be questionable ,just beacuse the fact that ,it is an art. Cinema is an art, done by an artist. You can like them,or dislike them You can either bring them to your heart,or you can throw that away. Just because it is an Art.

Let Art Flourish.
